Subaru 2023 Forester
Was noticing my Rav4 having more issues as of late. Decided to trade up to a newer model. Decided to trade in the Rav4 to purchase a Subaru 2023 Forester with the Premium Package. The technology from a 2008 Rav4 to a 2023 Subaru Forester is a big leap. As a tech person it is astonishing and a bit overkill in my opinion the technology that is being forced into new cars.
This is my first vehicle that has the following:
- Boxer Engine
- Push Start / KeyFob (Meh, I prefer the old key system)
- AWD
- CVT Transmission
- iSight Dual front Cameras
- Moonroof
- Starlink Satelite
- Remote Start/Lock/Location Tracker
- SirusXM (meh)
- Upgraded Stereo to the mid-tier Fosgate System
- The Operating System for the console is Open Source to boot
- Added the 10 year warranty
The overall ride and handling is smooth. The feel is that of a luxury SUV with the off-road 4×4 package. The All Wheel Drive makes it feel like a V6 handling. After doing my research with the CVT transmission. Subaru are the ones with the least amount of recalls. In addition to having ironed out many of the CVT transmission issues. Shifting feels buttery smooth. When you open up the engine bay everything is so simple to access. Everything is marked with a yellow cap, which makes it difficult to NOT know where your fluids are. Simplicity, Luxury, off-road option? Yes, Please and Thank You!
