The Backbone of my Network
This is my current Server Network Rack that I have at home. Currently, configured for Home and Business Use. This is the backbone of my entire home network. The Rack is a work in progress and always changing, updating, testing and maintaining. The Rack is made by StarTech. It is a 25U, 4 post, with wheels for easy placement. I added a PDU on the backside.
The equipment on the rack are the following:
- Network Attached Storage running Freenas with PLEX
- Dell R710 running Proxmox with mutiple VMS
- Trendnet 16 Port Fanless Gigabit Switch
- 2x Homerun HD Quatro Network TV Tuners
- 1x ObiHai Obi202 and 1x Obi200 VOIP Phone adapters
- Tripp-Lite UPS Battery Back Up
- Cisco Catalyst 2960 Network Switch
- Brother HL-L6200DWT
I will go in depth what each device does on my network and my thoughts on it. Here are some pictures of what my Rack looks like.
