Cartridge Repair

Still have my original Cartridge games for my consoles. Ran into an article on how the batteries need to be replaced. The games I owned are still using the original OEM battery from when they were manufactured. Found many tutorials on how to replace the battery. Decided to use a Battery socket to make it easier for future me to replace the batteries.

Why replace the batteries? It is to help facilitate the game saving features of the games. Which helps with not loosing your progression in certain games. Never having soldered anything prior. It was a great learning experience and made me more comfortable to tackle other projects in the near/far future.
