Guest WiFi – QR Codes
While checking out Tech articles and videos. I stumbled upon on how people connect their guest’s devices onto their guest network. With only using a QR code? When family visits some have asked to use our Guest WiFi. You have to input the credentials on multiple devices. Difficult if your are busy running around checking on guest.
What if you forgot the Guest WiFi password? What if you forgot to print out and put up Guest WiFi flyers? It took a few minutes to set this up. All I had to do was go to this website. I uploaded my Guest WiFi credentials along with adding a WiFi logo. The website lets you customize the colors and style. I can print the card and leave it on certain locations and forget it. I can access the wireless router and just enable the guest WiFi prior to the event or just leave it one full time. Then instruct your guests to use their phone to scan the WiFi QR Login. I could have used these at our events pre-covid. Poof, guests can use it and I can disable the Guest WiFi afterwards.
