LaView POE Security Cameras

Looking at old pictures of past projects.  I decided to post the pictures of my home security camera installation.  Took 2 days to finish.  Using a Netgear R6700 as my wireless bridge to connect the security system to my home network.  Added the following:

• UPS Battery Back up
• Security Rack
• LED Monitor
• LaView POE (Power Over Ethernet) Security System
• Patch Panel, then removed it since it was causing issues.  The cables were terminated correctly.  Once I plugged the cables directly to the NVR (Network Video Recorder) and it worked and resolved the issue of no link.

It was fun doing this project.  Having to run the cable, terminating, testing and seeing it work. It works on the home computers, cell phone and remote access to the cameras.  We always can see the cameras when we are out of the home and or traveling.  Day or Night it is very crisp and clean looking video footage.  Captured many interesting things such as when the street transformer blew up and caught the sparks fly.  While the neighborhood was in pitch darkness, the battery back up lasted a long time recording.  Loved this project, and have other friends and family looking to get their own camera systems.
