Having used buffer.com during my Real Estate Agent days. Have been trying to find a solution to post to multiple social media platforms at once. Postiz fits the what I am looking for. Some of the features is
- Self Hosted
- No recurring monthly cost compared to buffer.com
- Another project to expand my knowledge in working with APIs and integration
- Covers most of the Social Media platform I use with a few more to expand
- Can remove WordPress add-ons to free up resources and make the website load faster
- Possible add-on of N8N for automated posting, Postiz already has an auto post through detecting RSS updates on my main website
Watched a video from Dbtech on my feed a while ago. Dbtech explained on the initial docker compose setup. Used the docker compose template and adjusted where it was needed for my setup. Configured the SSL, created initial account, manually setup each platform API at a time. LinkedIn had the least amount of documentation to setup. Was able to find a solution through trial and error on getting it to work properly. The main thing is, that it works and taking my time to configure and tweak the settings and getting use to the adding it to my work flow.
