Mario RPG – The Legend of the Seven Stars was release to the Super Nintendo video game console.  It was a collaboration of Nintendo and another company Squaresoft.  Which later Squaresoft merged with Enix and now is called SquareEnix.  The main characters are Mario, Bowser, Princess with the addition of two new characters of Geno and Mallow.  The story revolves around the “star road” which is essential in the game to grant wishes. Which got disrupted by an unknown villain known by Smithy.  It is up to you to help fix this so wishes can be granted again on this world.  The overall game is easy to understand and the plot is engaging.  The level cap is up to level 30.  The music, game mechanics, and overall “grind” was very acceptable and not over the top.  This is considered one of the top 10 Role Playing Games from this time period from reported game journalists.  I agree, this game is one of my top 5 favorites that I catch myself playing every once in a while.  The game was a great entry in to the Role Playing Games at the time.  Some of those games in the genre were difficult and had a steep learning curve. During the story you saw some references to pop culture such as the “Axem Rangers’ which was a parody of Power Rangers during that time.   This video below is of me defeating the main villain and seeing the ending.
