Pi Hole Review

Pi Hole is a network wide ad blocking software.  Configuring my DNS to point the network traffic to PI Hole.  I noticed it was a bottleneck for network traffic.  The Pi Hole software is based of Raspberry Pi OS so the hardware is limited to 100mbs by default.  I read on the forums it did not matter if you installed PI Hole onto Ubuntu.  The speeds were not going to go faster.  Not great when your internal network speeds are 1gb.  One could tell the extra slight delay in network traffic.  Did it block ads? It reduced but not eliminated compared to Adblock or Untangles Adblocker which can use more resources and not limited.  I removed PI Hole in favor of Untangle.
