Trying out Pop OS Linux
Working in tech you have to be tech agnostic and try out most technologies. At the very least to get an understanding on how to ultimately support your clients/customers. I am a big fan of the Opensource philosophy. Having tried Linux throughout the last 20 years on and off. Started out with using Redhat back in college and slowly tried other flavors throughout the years such as Fedora, Xandros, Debian, Ubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie and PopOS. In the recent past I have gained more experience with setting up Ubuntu Servers, Firewalls, Network Filters, Docker, NAS and etc. Having recently purchased a OLED Steamdeck. I wanted to try my hand on changing windows 10 on my laptop to PopOS Linux. Here is my review overall.
