Home Network – Part 6 MineOS Setup
Never having played Minecraft before. I enjoy a similar game like Terraria which I am a big fan. With working with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and seeing that I have configured an in house Mumble VOIP Server and Pi-Hole Server. I felt adventurous and wanted to try my hand at making an in house Minecraft Server. There was a lot of information out there on how to do the task. I remember seeing a MineOS option on my Freenas Server. I figured why not look into MineOS. I downloaded the ISO and configured it on my Proxmox system and it worked. MineOS makes it easy for Linux novices to get into game servers. This opens up the mind into creating a game server for many games in house.
